Replacement of the Car Suspension Arm

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Control arm

The suspension arms of the car ensure the connection between the chassis and the struts. If they wear out, they need to be replaced because a faulty arm can lead to loss of vehicle control. This is not a complicated job, and if possible, you can do it yourself, saving some money. First, remove the wheel from the hub, keeping the bolts aside to avoid losing any parts. Next, detach the stabiliser link from the arm gently using two 14mm spanners. Once done, you can remove the link. After removing the joint, the suspension arm will be in front of you, ready to be replaced.
