What you need for this operation is a CR2032 button battery (which can be purchased at any supermarket or electronics store) and a small screwdriver. On the key, locate the small side button that unlocks the metal emergency key; pull it out. Insert the flat-head screwdriver into the gap created where the metal key was inserted, and lever it to separate the two halves of the remote. You will see the CR2032 battery and take note of how the battery is inserted. Remove it and insert the new one in the same way, then align the two halves of the remote and press them together until you hear the clips click. Replace the emergency key and you are done.
