Dismantle the engine of the Ducati 848 by loosening the bolts that secure it to the supports in the centre of the frame: once the engine block is freed, you can loosen the bolts that secure the cylinder head and cylinders. This will allow you to remove these parts to access the pistons inside: these can be freed from the connecting rods by removing the corresponding rings and pins.

At this point, you will have access to the crankshaft and all the components inside: by replacing the necessary parts, you can reassemble the engine and check its operation.
