In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Ducati Monster 696, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then place a container under the motorcycle, locate the drain plug and unscrew it using a 5mm hex key. Let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the side cap with a 14mm hex key, remove the secondary filter and clean it from any residue. At this point, all that remains is to unscrew the main filter, tighten the replacement, reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the appropriate upper hole.
