To disassemble the engine of the Gilera SP 02, you need to loosen the screws that fix the engine block to its housing so that it can be removed: to do this, you also need to disconnect the intake and exhaust manifolds, disconnecting their connectors.

At this point, it will be possible to remove the cylinder and the cylinder head, detaching the piston from the corresponding connecting rod: this will give access to the crankshaft and it will be possible to replace all necessary components.

Finally, you can close the engine again, checking that everything is functioning properly.
