In order to disassemble the gearbox of the Gilera SP 02, you need to loosen the screws that secure the gearbox housing to its mounting: this will be located on the bottom of the bike immediately connected to the engine block. It will be possible to proceed by also disconnecting all the connectors, in order to remove the gearbox housing and open it: the gears and bearings inside can then be removed and possibly replaced with new parts. After the replacement, the housing must be closed and checked to ensure that everything is functioning correctly.

How to Remove the Engine from a KTM EXC 300?
