How do you replace the clutch of the Ducati Monster 796?

Model: Ducati Monster 796
Part: Clutch

Video tutorial

The clutch installed on the Ducati Monster 796 can be replaced by loosening the bolts that secure the cover of the casing located on the right side of the vehicle, immediately below the exhaust terminal. Once the casing has been opened, it will be possible to access the clutch by unscrewing all the bolts that hold the discs together.

By removing the bolts, it will be possible to remove all the clutch discs and replace them with a new spare part. Once the new clutch has been installed, it will need to be secured by tightening the locking screws again.

At the end of the installation, the casing can be reinserted and the operation verified.

An Affordable Modification to Solve a Problem on the Yamaha MT07

This video shows how to solve a problem affecting the Yamaha MT07 with a very affordable modification. This bike requires a specific movement of the throttle grip to accelerate, which forces the right wrist into an unnatural twist. You can remedy this by fitting the throttle control from the R6, which reduces the rotation from 90° to 45°; the cost is under £25 even when buying the original part directly from the dealership. As shown, the disassembly and reassembly work is extremely simple; just be careful not to let the throttle guide slip, as it has its seat directly in the cover. You can see the difference in hand position after replacing the grip.
