Descriptive guide for replacing the engine oil and oil filter on a Ducati X Diavel S. Obtain 4 litres of Motul 7100 SAE 15W50 oil and a HIFLO HF153 oil filter. Position the motorcycle on its rear stand. Start the engine, let it reach temperature, and then switch off. Place a container for collecting the used oil under the engine. Using a ratchet and a 6mm Allen bit, undo the oil drain plug located under the engine. Allow the oil to drain and clean the plug thoroughly. Use a socket spanner to undo the oil filter located under the engine. Open the oil filler cap located on the right side of the crankcase. Pour in the oil, referring to the inspection hole located on the lower right side of the crankcase. Start the engine for one minute and switch off. Check the oil level again.
