Before you begin, position your Ducati Panigale 1299 on a suitable motorcycle stand. Start by removing the rider's seat, unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts. Next, remove the side fairings by unscrewing the fixing screws. Once done, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the fuel tank, then disconnect the associated hose and electrical connectors, and finally remove the fuel tank itself. By doing this, you will reach the air filter cover, which you need to unclip and remove. At this point, you can remove the air filter itself, completing the disassembly.
