To replace the rear brake pads on a Ducati Monster 620, loosen the bolts securing the brake caliper to the rear wheel's brake disc. Once the caliper is detached from the disc, remove the old pads from inside and insert the new replacement parts into the caliper.

The caliper can then be positioned back onto the disc and secured by tightening the fixing bolts. After installation, check that the brake functions correctly.

An Affordable Modification to Solve a Problem on the Yamaha MT07

This video shows how to solve a problem affecting the Yamaha MT07 with a very affordable modification. This bike requires a specific movement of the throttle grip to accelerate, which forces the right wrist into an unnatural twist. You can remedy this by fitting the throttle control from the R6, which reduces the rotation from 90° to 45°; the cost is under £25 even when buying the original part directly from the dealership. As shown, the disassembly and reassembly work is extremely simple; just be careful not to let the throttle guide slip, as it has its seat directly in the cover. You can see the difference in hand position after replacing the grip.
