First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then place a container underneath it, locate the drain hole bolt, and unscrew it using a 10 mm hex key. Once all the oil has drained from the system, unscrew the old filter with a 17 mm socket, install the replacement, and tighten it along with the bolt. At this point, simply pour the new oil through the designated upper hole.
