To change the engine oil on the BMW F 800 GS, loosen the oil drain plug located at the central lower part of the bike. Once it is loosened, collect the used oil in a suitably positioned container. When the oil has fully drained, remove the oil filter from the lower front, so it can be replaced with a new one. After replacing the filter, top up the oil by adding the necessary amount of new oil through the breather on the left side of the bike.
