Where is the battery located in the Ducati Monster 821?

This video shows where the battery is located in the Ducati Monster 821, useful in case you need to replace it, recharge it, or perform an emergency start. As shown, it is located at the rear of the engine, just below the shock absorber.

To access it, simply unscrew the fastening screws of the plastic cover using a 6 mm Allen key. To remove it, you need to take out the two lower bolts and disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative. Once the replacement is fitted, connect the positive terminal first.
