How do you replace the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200?

In order to replace the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200, you need to loosen the screws that secure the brake caliper to the corresponding front disc: once the fixing screws of this caliper have been loosened, you can proceed to detach the caliper from the disc so that you can remove the pin and slide out the pads inside. At this point, you can insert the new pads into their seat, so that you can secure them with the corresponding pin and install the corresponding brake caliper on its disc.

How to replace the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200

Today's guide will show us the main steps useful for disassembling and replacing the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the central stand and start unscrewing the fastening screws of the front brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc; then we remove the two locking pins of the brake caliper, using pliers with pointed tips, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the brake pads with new ones, of the right type; we first clean the caliper from the residual dirt, thus installing the brake caliper!
