The procedure for changing the engine oil on a Ducati Hypermotard involves unscrewing the drain plug from the oil sump, located at the central lower part of the bike. Once all the oil has drained, collect it in a suitable container.

Next to the drain plug, you will find the oil filter, which can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, top up by adding new oil through the breather located on the right side of the engine casing.
