To change the motor oil of a Ducati Monster, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to fluidize the oil, then turn it off and place the bike on a stable stand. Under the engine, locate the oil drain plug and place a collection pan underneath it. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug and let the oil completely drain into the pan. Once all the oil has drained, put the drain plug back on and tighten it securely. Locate the oil fill cap on the top of the engine and remove it. Use a funnel to slowly pour the recommended amount of new oil as stated in the owner's manual. After completing the filling, put the fill cap back on and start the engine for a few minutes to circulate the new oil. Turn off the engine and check for any oil leaks from the drain plug.
