How do you remove the steering wheel of the Fiat Punto?

In order to remove the steering wheel of the Fiat Punto, you need to loosen the screws located at the bottom rear of the vehicle, so that it is possible to remove the central airbag from its housing: once this airbag has been removed, it will be possible to loosen the nut underneath that secures the steering wheel to the center of the steering column. At this point, the old steering wheel can be completely removed, and the new one can be inserted: this must be fixed to its housing with the appropriate central steering wheel nut and finally the airbag can also be repositioned.
