How to Replace the Front Headlight Bulbs on a Fiat 600

Before seeing how to replace the front headlight bulbs on a Fiat 600 when it is mounted on the car, the video shows an overview of the operations performed on the disassembled headlight. In this phase of the images, we can see that to replace the main/dipped beam bulb, we need to remove the rubber protective cover. This operation is done by pulling the cover using one of the designated tabs. At this point, extract the bulb. In the images, the locking system consists of two metal levers that need to be disengaged by pushing them sideways (away from the bulb) and pulling them outwards. With headlights from other brands, the locking mechanism should be more or less similar. Once done, extract the bulb being careful not to touch the glass. To install the new bulb, perform the same operations in reverse order. The bulb must be inserted so that the tabs at the base align with the corresponding grooves. The second part of the images illustrates the difficulties of working on the mounted headlight. It also shows how to remove the indicator unit, which is attached to the headlight. To remove it, pull the designated cable and disengage it from the headlight. At this point, slide it out of its housing. Once done, remove the bulb along with its holder. To reassemble everything, repeat the same operations in reverse order. Be careful to align the different guides with the corresponding tabs.
