Detailed instructions - How to remove the mirror from an external mirror on a Fiat? Let's look at the Freemont. In this video, you will see how to proceed: using a plastic or rubber-coated lever, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Apply leverage until the glass detaches from the mirror; this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Once the mirror is removed, disconnect the power connector for the mirror. To remove the coloured cover: press the locking clips located inside the mirror. Fit the new mirror onto the mirror assembly.
