How do you replace the steering column of the Fiat Grande Punto?

To replace the steering column that appears on the instrument panel of the Fiat Punto, you must first remove the steering wheel: this can be removed by unscrewing the screws at the back and disconnecting the airbag in the center. Then you will need to loosen the nut that secures the steering wheel itself and then remove the trim panels around the steering column. This can now be freed from the rack at the bottom in order to insert the new replacement part and verify that everything works correctly.
