How to change the air filter of a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014

Let's see how to remove the engine air filter on a Mini. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Open the air kit near the engine soundproofing panel (unscrew the fastening screws), remove the cover of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the walls). Refit the air box cover and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
