Before starting, open the bonnet of your Mini Cooper. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the air filter cover.

Next, remove the air filter cover itself. This will give you access to the air filter in your Mini Cooper.

Proceed to unclip and remove the air filter from its housing. Once you have completed this step, you will have successfully disassembled it. To fit the new filter, simply follow these brief steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
