In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the air filter on a Mini Cooper by following a few simple steps. The first thing to do is purchase a new air filter from an authorised dealer.

Lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Using an 8mm socket, loosen the clamp and remove the air intake hose from its housing.

Still using the 8mm socket, loosen the securing screws from the air filter cover; at this point, remove the air filter cover; take out the old filter and replace it with a new one.
