Before you start, open the front passenger door of your Mini Cooper. Begin by unclipping the clips that secure the lower cover of the cabin air filter.

Then, remove and extract the lower cover itself. This will give you access to the cabin air filter.

Proceed to unclip and remove the filter itself, completing the removal. To install the new cabin air filter, simply follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
