Changing the Boot Light Bulb in a Few Steps

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Light bulb

Need to replace the boot light bulb? It's simple and can be done in a few steps. To avoid issues, disconnect the power to the bulb by securing the latch that closes the boot with a wire. Once located, use a flathead screwdriver to press into the slot on the right; underneath, there is a tab. Leverage this tab and remove the bulb holder, taking care not to break it as the plastic may have deteriorated over the years. At this point, open the bulb holder and remove the burnt bulb, inserting the new one (5v5w). Reinsert the bulb holder into its place, and the operation is complete. Remember to remove the wire used to secure the boot latch before closing it.
