Checking and Replacing Fuses

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Before proceeding with the fuse check, it is advisable to disconnect one terminal of the battery.
The first fuse box is located inside the cabin, beneath the glove compartment on the driver's left: rotate the two fixing screws 90° and open the cover (the back of the cover indicates the correspondence between the fuses and their respective circuits).
The kit also includes a special tweezers for removing the fuses from their slots: remove a fuse, check for any oxidation on the terminals and the integrity of the fuse element connecting the two terminals; proceed in the same manner for each fuse.
The other fuse box is located in the engine compartment near the battery: the same considerations apply as previously mentioned.
