How to Remove Rear Shock Absorbers on Fiat Idea

Replace the shock absorbers if they are worn and damaged on a Fiat Idea. Loosen the wheel nuts with a telescopic spanner, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber (at the top and bottom). Insert the shock absorber into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top of the shock absorber, then secure the bottom to the wheel hub. Connect the various wiring and pipes. Refit the wheel and tighten the nuts. Lower the car.
