Disassembly of the Fiat Punto oil sump

There are several reasons for removing the oil pan on this car. The procedure to follow is linear and not complex but requires a certain experience and above all good patience. You start by removing the engine oil from the lower drain plug and then proceed to remove the heat shield and the exhaust manifold to remove the first segment. After that I will proceed to remove the pins that connect the bracket to the gearbox which rests on the joint of the drive shaft. Once this is done we will have access to the screws of the sump that can be unscrewed and we can remove it.
