Replacing the Oil Sump Gasket on a Punto

Replace the oil sump pump on a Punto? Remove the oil sump from underneath the vehicle. Lift the car on a column lift and locate the oil sump to be removed. Before removing the oil sump, disconnect the pipes underneath it. Unscrew the securing bolts around the oil sump. Once the bolts are removed, take the sump off the vehicle. Fit the new oil sump with its gasket and securing bolts. Reattach all pipes under the oil sump and connect them. Once the replacement is complete, top up with new oil.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
