Replace the oil sump pump on a Punto? Remove the oil sump from underneath the vehicle. Lift the car on a column lift and locate the oil sump to be removed.

Before removing the oil sump, disconnect the pipes underneath it. Unscrew the securing bolts around the oil sump. Once the bolts are removed, take the sump off the vehicle.

Fit the new oil sump with its gasket and securing bolts. Reattach all pipes under the oil sump and connect them.

Once the replacement is complete, top up with new oil.
