As shown in this tutorial, replacing the remote battery on the Fiat Idea is an extremely simple and cost-effective operation. To do this, obtain a small flat-head screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery. First, press the metal button on top and extend the emergency key, then unscrew the screw located inside the newly exposed slot by half a turn and pull out the small drawer. At this point, you can remove the old battery, insert the replacement while respecting the polarity, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
