When your car has covered many miles, it may be necessary to replace the shock absorbers, which serve to dampen the car's bumps and ensure safety while cornering. The procedure for replacing the shock absorbers can be done without the help of a mechanic.

Once you have obtained the new shock absorbers, lift the car with a jack, open the bonnet, and remove all the screws located above the shock absorber and also the two screws of the driveshaft. Once this operation is done, you can place the new shock absorber in the same position as the old one.
