Cylinder Head Gasket Replacement

Before applying the new cylinder head gasket, it is absolutely essential to check the flatness of the surfaces, both on the head side and the cylinder block side: use a straight edge and a feeler gauge to ensure there are no deformations; then, re-tap the threaded holes using a tap of the appropriate diameter and pitch, taking care not to let any debris fall into the cylinders; apply the new cylinder head gasket, position the head itself, and use a new set of bolts for fastening, applying copper grease to the bottom of the thread and just below the head; tighten the bolts in a cross pattern using both a torque wrench and a standard wrench.

Let's see how to remove the headlight bulbs on a Toyota Rav4. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Locate the inspection cap (if present) on the headlight and remove it (located at the rear of the headlight).
