The cigarette lighter socket is increasingly used to power smartphones, tablets, and other electronic accessories, raising the risk of blowing the fuse due to surges. If this happens, open the fuse box located in the engine compartment on the driver's side.

Using the installation diagram found in the owner's manual, locate the yellow 20A fuse. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the blown fuse and replace it with a new one. Close the fuse box and verify that the operation was successful.
