In this video, you will learn where to find the legal chassis number (VIN) of a Fiat 500L. The legal chassis number is permanently stamped on the vehicle's supporting chassis, and it is not the label placed on the windscreen on the driver's side (which is a courtesy label mainly for moving the vehicle until it has its registration plate) nor the metal label at the end of production found within the driver's door frame.

In the case of the Fiat 500L, the complete chassis number, consisting of 17 digits and always starting with ZFA, is located under the driver's seat, covered by a plastic label that must be removed to access the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
