First, remove the central levers of the smaller knobs by pulling them towards you. It doesn't matter if you start from the right or left; just ensure you pull the small one first. This allows you to completely pull off the trim on each side or just the side where you are replacing the bulb. Now you have extracted the control knob assembly. Replace the burnt-out bulbs with new ones that you can find at an auto parts store, and then retrace your steps to reassemble the various components.
