Removing the external rear-view mirror is straightforward but requires the removal of the door trim panel. Start by taking off the triangular plastic cover located inside the door pillar at the mirror's mounting point.

Next, remove the masking plugs covering the screws behind the window switch panel and the opening lever. Once the screws are removed, detach the panel and pull it away enough to disconnect the mirror adjustment connector.

Complete the removal by unscrewing the two mounting nuts.
