How to Replace a Wheel Bearing on a Fiat Punto

In this video, see how to disassemble a wheel bearing along with all associated parts on a Fiat Punto. Position the car on a column lift, loosen the bolts with a telescopic spanner, and raise it to a comfortable height for work. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, then start unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper detaching it from the bracket. Use a socket spanner to loosen the caliper bolt. Now remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the bolts on the brake disc, pulling the disc towards you to slide it off the wheel hub. Completely remove the wheel hub from the car arm and extract the worn bearing. Use a pressing tool to install the new bearing. Before reassembling everything, clean all dirt residue from the disassembled parts with brushes and lubricate the components. Install the brake disc with all associated bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all bolts are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the bolt. Now install the wheel onto the wheel hub and screw in all the bolts.
