How to replace the serpentine belt on a Ford Fiesta

To replace the serpentine belt on a sixth-generation Ford Fiesta, turn off the engine and access the side of the engine where the auxiliary belt is located. Safely lift the vehicle and, if necessary, remove the front wheel and the inner wheel arch lining for better access to the system. Locate the tensioner and use an appropriate spanner to rotate it, relieving tension from the belt. While holding the tensioner in position, slide the old belt off the pulleys. Check the correct routing of the new belt and position it on the various pulleys, leaving the most accessible one for last. Rotate the tensioner again, fully insert the belt, and release it slowly. Ensure it is correctly aligned on all pulleys, then reassemble the previously removed components and start the engine to check its operation.
