How to change the key battery of a Ford Fiesta? Let's look at the disassembly. Take your ignition key and use a small screwdriver to pry between the two plastic parts until the cover with the battery cover cap separates; separate the two plastic parts of the cover and remove the flat battery using a small screwdriver, then take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the key remote cover until you hear them click into place. Check the correct operation of the key remote by testing the door opening and closing buttons.
