Ford Focus - Video tutorial
Model: Ford Focus
MK 1
- Years 1998-2004 One of the components that facilitate the cold start of diesel engines is the glow plug or more commonly known as a glow plug. Thanks to the thermal energy generated electrically and conveyed into the combustion chamber, ideal ignition conditions are created for the injected fuel. For engines with pre-combustion chamber it is absolutely essential for cold starting, in order to guarantee engine starting even in temperature ranges between +10 and -30 Â ° C. To replace the glow plugs it is advisable to disconnect the positive pole of the batteries: the glow plugs are in fact positioned in the front part of the engine, near the injectors and connected to each other in parallel by a cable with eyelets. Then unscrew the fixing nuts of the eyelets, unscrew and replace the glow plugs with new ones and reconnect the cable and the battery pole.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto? To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood. by ScegliAuto More videos
