Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 5, MK 5, MK V - Years 2002-2008

This video will show you how to remove and replace the solenoid for the electronic boot release on a Ford Fiesta. This operation takes just a few minutes and is easily performed. Using an 8mm socket, unscrew the two screws that secure the unit, then also remove the metal cable and the connector, and finally, extract the solenoid. At this point, you can fit the new part by securing the connector, the metal cable, and the two screws. Do a quick test and you will see that you now have a completely new solenoid for opening your boot.
