In this video tutorial, you will see how to remove and replace the solenoid or actuator for the rear boot lock on a sixth series Ford Fiesta. First, open the boot and remove the boot panel by unclipping it from the rear clips; then unscrew the screws securing the plastic cover to access the lock mechanism, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the screws of the mechanism and actuator and disconnect the opening cable; all that’s left is to remove the actuator and replace it with the new one!
