How to remove the glow plugs from a Ford Fiesta? Let's look at the disassembly of the glow plugs on a Ford Fiesta. Unlock the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Remove the plastic engine cover panel, and also remove the air box if you have space issues. Grasp the coil with your hands and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Unscrew the glow plugs with a socket wrench. Take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Start the engine for a functionality test.
