Removal of the Boot Locking Mechanism

Model: Ford Fiesta MK 6, Fiesta 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017
Part: Door lock

Open the boot lid and undo the two screws located along the plastic trim of the rear hatch edge (near the hinges). Undo the other screw that secures the internal trim of the hatch near the lock. Remove the trim by releasing it from the clips (using a small plastic lever). Disconnect the electrical connection to the lock and undo the two screws that secure it in place. At this point, you can extract the lock and replace it with a new one. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Ford Fiesta.
