How do you remove the external handle of the Ford Focus?

In order to remove the external handle of the Ford Focus, you need to loosen the screws that fix the lock cylinder to its housing: these screws will be located on the side of the door, accessible by opening it. Once these screws have been removed, it will be possible to slide the cylinder out of its seat so that the handle can be released; after the handle has been removed, you can then place the new one inside its seat, reinserting the cylinder and checking that everything functions correctly.
