In order to disassemble the engine of the Garelli Tiger Cross, it is necessary to remove it from inside its housing in the lower part of the bike: after the fixing bolts of the supports and the connectors of the various sensors have been removed, it will be possible to extract the engine from its seat. At this point, loosen the screws that secure the two engine casing halves, so that it can be opened by accessing the components inside: for example, disconnect the connecting rod from the piston or act on the valves. After the modification operations have taken place it will be possible to mount the engine again.

Once the cover has been removed, the underlying filter can be located: it must be removed from its seat by loosening the fixing screws and pulling it out from inside its housing. After the old filter has been removed, the new replacement piece can be installed, securing it in place with the screws and reinstalling the removed cover.
