How to replace the Genesis G70 oil and oil filter![]()
Model: Genesis G70
MK 1
- Years 2018-2025 To change the oil and the oil filter on the car, proceed as follows: lift the car and open the bonnet, then unscrew the oil top-up cap. Under the engine compartment, locate the flap to be removed on the soundproofing panel which allows access to the filter. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the oil filter after placing a container to collect the used oil. Then extract the filter from its housing and take the new filter (always first check the filter specifications that are suitable for the type of car). Replace the filter cap O-ring and place the new filter into the housing. Then locate the oil drain plug on the side of the sump and unscrew it and wait for all the oil to drain. Then screw the cap back on and put the filter cap back on and screw them back on. Then refit the soundproofing panel cover. Finally, proceed from the engine compartment, to filling with the new lubricant.
