The fuel pump, in the Opel Meriva CDTI 1.7, is located precisely inside the tank, which in turn is positioned at the rear of the car, under the seats. We are talking about the object visible in this video, for which the following procedure is followed: The seats of the aforementioned seats must be lifted, the partition separating the passenger compartment from the tank must be opened, the fuel inlet and outlet pipes, the electrical power cables must be disconnected, and finally the pump must be released from the mounting pins and removed from its housing.

Reverse procedure to install the new one.
