In order to reset the brake wear indicator light on the Ford Transit Custom, you first need to replace the excessively worn brake pads by inserting the new replacement parts into the corresponding calipers. Once this operation has been completed, you will need to remove the panel at the bottom of the steering column. Here you will be able to locate the connector for the brake pad wear sensor: by disconnecting it, you can wait a few minutes for the sensor to reset. Then you can reconnect it and verify that the indicator light has disappeared.
