To replace the water pump on the Gilera Runner 180 VXR, loosen the bolts securing the exhaust on the right side near the rear wheel of the bike. Once the exhaust is removed, you can access the underlying cover. This cover must be removed from its housing by unscrewing the bolts to reach the water pump below. Disconnect the water pump from the relevant hoses and replace it with a new spare part. After replacement, remount the cover and the exhaust, ensuring everything functions correctly.
